Our story and mission

At Josie's Learning Center, we believe in creating a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive. Discover our passion for early childhood development and our commitment to your family.

Our passion for early learning

I started Josie’s Learning Center because I believe every child deserves a place where they feel safe, loved, and truly seen. I’ve always had a passion for early childhood development and watching children grow—not just academically, but emotionally and socially. Too often, families need more than just childcare—they need support, consistency, and a partner they can trust. I wanted to create a center that feels like an extension of home, where learning is hands-on, nurturing, and intentional.

What makes us special

What makes Josie’s Learning Center special isn’t just what we teach—it’s how children experience learning every day. We don’t believe learning should be rushed or one-size-fits-all. Every child develops at their own pace, so our approach is centered on meeting children exactly where they are and helping them grow from there. We focus on hands-on, play-based learning that keeps children engaged, curious, and excited to come back each day. We also intentionally build social-emotional skills like sharing, communication, independence, and confidence.

Meet our dedicated team

The people working with the children at Josie’s Learning Center are caring, patient, and highly intentional professionals who truly understand early childhood development. Our team is made up of trained early childhood educators and caregivers who bring both education and real-world experience into the classroom. Many have backgrounds in early childhood education, child development, or related fields, along with hands-on experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Ongoing training is also a big part of our program, ensuring our team continues to grow.

"My child absolutely loves Josie's Learning Center! The staff are incredibly nurturing and I've seen such a positive change in their confidence and curiosity."
